The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) has made a number of publications in recent years that among others focusing on the ASEAN Economic Community 2015 and the ASEAN Integration. Relevant to the development of the accountancy profession in the region, the ASEAN has also publish a the Handbook on Liberalisation of Professional Services through Mutual Recognition in ASEAN: Accountancy Services. The ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) together with the relevant regulators in the region supported the publication of particularly this Handbook.
